Making India Healthier —
One Family at a Time.
A BSc Medical Lab Technologist who spent 6+ years reading lab reports, studying disease markers, and watching people struggle with health problems that could have been prevented with the right knowledge — decided to do something about it.
Why I Started Sehatam
Working as a Medical Lab Technologist, I spent years processing hundreds of blood reports, urine analyses, and diagnostic tests. Every day, I watched results come in — high blood sugar, abnormal hormone levels, poor lipid profiles — for people in their 20s and 30s. Young people. Preventable conditions. Every single day. The patterns were impossible to ignore. And almost every case had one thing in common — the person had no idea what their body was trying to tell them, and no one had ever explained it in simple terms.
When these patients looked for help online, they found Western diet plans that called for avocado toast and quinoa bowls. They found supplement ads disguised as health advice. They found content written by people who had never seen a lab report in their life. Nobody was speaking to the Indian reality — dal, roti, tight budgets, busy families, and real bodies. That gap bothered me deeply. Because I knew the science. I had the clinical experience. And I knew that the answers were actually simpler than the industry wanted people to believe.
So I built Sehatam — not as a business first, but as a mission. A place where every Indian — regardless of their income, their city, or their education level — could access honest, science-backed, Indian-first wellness guidance, completely free. No supplements to sell. No paid subscriptions. No jargon. Just clear, clinical knowledge translated into practical guidance for real Indian life. Because I believe that a healthier India starts with informed Indians — and that understanding your body should never require a medical degree.

My Mission is Simple —
Make India Healthy.
India has one of the highest rates of lifestyle diseases in the world — diabetes, PCOS, obesity, gut disorders — and most of it is preventable. The knowledge to prevent these conditions already exists. The problem is that it's locked behind expensive consultations, confusing medical jargon, and wellness advice that was never designed for Indian lives. Sehatam exists to change that. My goal is to reach every Indian family — urban or rural, rich or struggling — with free, honest, clinically-informed wellness guidance that actually works in their real life.
Indian First
Every program, every article, every tool is built around Indian food, Indian culture, and Indian realities.
Science Backed
Clinical knowledge — not trends, not sponsored content, not influencer opinions.
Always Free
Good health guidance should never be a luxury. Everything on Sehatam is free — and always will be.
No Jargon
Complex clinical science, explained in simple language that anyone can understand and act on today.
What I Believe About Health
Your body is already telling you what it needs — you just need someone to help you listen. Lab reports, symptoms, energy levels — they're all signals. Sehatam helps you read them.
Indian food is not the problem — dal, roti, sabzi, and chawal are among the most nutritionally intelligent meals on earth. The problem is misinformation that tells Indians to abandon their own food culture.
Supplements are mostly unnecessary for a person eating a reasonably balanced Indian diet. The supplement industry profits from making you feel deficient. Real food, eaten wisely, is almost always enough.
Prevention is infinitely better than cure — and most lifestyle diseases are preventable. The clinical patterns I saw in the lab made this undeniably clear. Early knowledge saves lives.
Health is not a luxury — it is a right. Every Indian, regardless of income or education, deserves access to honest, evidence-based health guidance. That is why Sehatam is, and will always remain, free.
